Today's blog post is going to be all my favorite things that I collected this month. I did a poll on my Instagram stories to see which blog post you wanted to see the most and this one won by far! Some of these items will be Christmas gifts and some of them will be things I purchased on my own. I will link anything that I can for you to make it easy to shop! Without further ado, in no particular order, let's get into all of my favorite things!
I got this versatile bin from Target. Target has a great selection organizational pieces. They have anything from plastic bins to woven baskets. Trust me, there's an organizational unit to match almost anyone's style! For me, I had already purchased one of the smaller versions of this bin for my room on top of my night stand, but this time I needed something to stand next to my clothing rack and mirror. This served its purpose and helps me to stay organized. I typically use this to store the bags to my lighting equipment and some extra hangers for my clothing rack!
Next up, I got this item as a gift from my older sister for Christmas. I had been wanting this for a while, but had no reason to purchase it at the time. However, now I use this spray bottle for room perfume/spray. Sometimes, when I don't want to burn a candle because it's late and I don't want to fall asleep with it burning, I will spray my room perfume/spray instead! This is definitely not a need, but ae very nice to have!
Canva is an easy to use graphic design tool! I use this for designing my instagram story highlights, my blog, and for school projects. Not only is it easy to use, but it has so many templates to choose from! Here is the Canva website so you can check it out for yourself!
This phone has so many features that I couldn't possibly name them all, so I'll link the descriptions here. I chose to get the iPhone 11 Pro compared to the other options because of the camera quality. This phone has three cameras each meant for different purposes to help you get the right shot! I use my iPhone 11 Pro for a majority of the photos on my blog; the rest of the photos are usually shot by a professional photographer. One of my favorite features on this phone is the fact that I can use portrait mode on objects and not just faces. This comes in handy when I am shooting photos like the ones in this blog post!
I use this one on my hair. I have been looking for a good oil from a company that doesn't make my hair smell because some oils don't have the best scents. The company is called Jamaican Mango & Lime, and they have so many scents for this oil that you can choose from. You can purchase this product at Sally's beauty supply store or at Target. I have the peppermint-infused one -- it promotes healthy hair and scalp, relieves itchy scalp, and revitalizes, moisturizes, and softens cuticles.
I currently have a pair of black over the knee boots from Shein (only $35.00) and I want to get another pair in a nude/tan color! I love these boots so much -- they are perfect for the winter time to keep your legs warm. I like to style these boots with denim skirts to keep my legs warm or wear with jeans. I got this necklace as a gift from my aunt and I am so grateful for it! I love wearing it. It's just a wonderful reminder that I can keep close to me. This cross necklace is gold and is from Nordstrom. I know we just passed Christmas, but this is a great present for someone's birthday coming up in the new year!
I got these shoes as a gift as well from Santa this year! I first saw these shoes on Pinterest styled so many different ways and I wanted to buy some! I was so happy to receive these kicks for Christmas! These shoes are a great staple, and because they are white they go with plenty of outfits. These Pajama shorts are just so me! My favorite color is light pink ('dusty rose') and I'm all about comfort these days! Pair these with a sweatshirt and some fuzzy socks for lounging around the house or a T-shirt for going to bed! I got these shorts from Target, but for some reason they aren't online anymore. I linked the closest thing that I could find online, which was on Amazon.
This item might not seem like anything special, but it has been a staple in my closet for this past month and I just had to add it to the list. This can be paired with just about anything because of the color and it is super soft and cozy. The only downside to this cardigan is that it doesn't have any pockets, so I always make sure that the pants I am wearing have pockets!
